Web Werks ropes in Supertron as VAD to drive digital transformation

In a strategic move to enhance enterprise sales through collaborative ventures and reseller-based partnerships, Web Werks Data Centers India has joined forces with Supertron Electronics, IT distributors. The collaboration designates Supertron Electronics (VAD Venture) as the Value-Added Distributor (VAD) for Web Werks. Supertron VAD, known for conducting 70% of its business exclusively, mandates resellers and dealers to procure products solely within their assigned territories.

Functioning as a fulfillment center for resellers and System Integrators, Supertron VAD boasts a robust supply chain system and a formidable Pan-Indian presence. Web Werks estimates that more than 50% of its domestic enterprise revenues will be generated through the partner ecosystem. Amit Agrawal, Chief Business Officer at Web Werks, expressed his confidence in SupertronVAD leading this effort, aiming to build a world-class partner ecosystem in India and beyond.

Agrawal stated, “Organizations across industries are in the midst of digital transformation and looking to cloud solutions for business growth. Utilizing our solutions will help them achieve cost savings, enhance security, and agility for operations. Together with SupertronVAD, we aim to provide an end-to-end solution to organizations in their digital transformation journey.”

Web Werks, since its inception, has played a pivotal role in helping numerous organizations accelerate their digital transformation milestones. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including Colocation, Cloud Computing, Networking, and Managed Services. With six advanced Tier III Data Centers strategically located across major commercial hubs in India, Web Werks plans to expand its footprint with upcoming centers in Chennai and Kolkata.

Debraj Dam, Chief of Value Added Distribution at Supertron, emphasized the growth potential in the India Data Centre Market, projected to increase from USD 6.12 billion in 2023 to USD 10.89 billion by 2028, with a CAGR of 12.22%. He highlighted the natural progression in Supertron’s growth journey and the alignment with Iron Mountain’s Web Werks Data Centres India solutions. These solutions encompass information management, digital transformation, secure storage, secure colo data centers, and cloud services offerings to their CIB partner community in the Datacentre and software domain.

Dam emphasized the commitment to partner ecosystems and customer leadership positions, reinforcing Supertron’s position in the Asia Pacific and Middle East markets. Through the partnership with Web Werks, Supertron’s partners will gain access to leverage Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) along with other integrated solutions.
