Solar VPS has announced the expansion of its internally developed Windows and Linux VPS Cloud Hosting software, the SolarSystemTM. The expansion of the SolarSystemTM to Dallas, TX marks the company’s first partnership with Digital Realty, a global data center leader. The partnership with Digital Realty at their Dallas, TX location is the first node in a series which will see additional Solar VPS SolarSystem™ nodes established in Phoenix, AZ and Miami, FL.
The new Dallas Solar VPS node hypervisors are comprised of next generation hexa-core Intel E5 Processors with 256GB of RAM each allowing for additional burst and growth. The new node utilizes a fully redundant 10GB network and operates a NetAPP Base SAS Storage platform for all storage needs. This new Dallas, TX SolarSystem node is built upon the same architecture as its sister Solar VPS node that was deployed in Clifton, NJ in January of 2013.
