Softaculous Ltd. today announced the launch of two new products: Softaculous Remote and Softaculous Enterprise.
The launch of two new products, designed for web hosting providers who don’t use standard panels like cPanel, Directadmin, and have their own custom panels, comes nearly a week after Softaculous released Virtualizor 2.2.8.
Softaculous has been very frequent in upgrading it’s wide range of products and in a recent interview with DailyHostNews, Mr. Pulkit Gupta, CEO, Softaculous said that “INNOVATION was something we always banked upon and continue to.”
“Softaculous Remote and Softaculous Enterprise will now make it easier to integrate Softaculous into the custom panels developed by web hosts,” said Pulkit Gupta, Founder and CEO, Softaculous .
“We already have several web hosts using Softaculous with their custom panel however making it available to all makes the integration a rather automated process,” he added.
Softaculous Remote:
Allowing users to install web applications on-the-go, Softaculous Remote uses FTP protocol to install Web Applications on a web hosting providers’ user’s domain.
A web hosting provider thus only needs to install Softaculous on it’s own servers and it’s users can install apps on their account by accessing Softaculous on that server.
Softaculous Enterprise
Ideal for a clustered setup where multiple servers are connected over NFS, Softaculous Enterprise will be installed on a single VM or dedicated server and then install applications over NFS.
“Softaculous Remote and Enterprise can now be offered by web hosts with custom panels allowing their users to install apps with just ONE click, ” said Mr. Jigar Dhulla, Software developer, Softaculous.
Very recently Softaculous also completed the addition of 300 scripts and 1115 PHP Classes in their library, and released Softaculous 4.2.2.
The applications available in the Softaculous apps library are WordPress, b2evolution, StatusNet, Drupal, Joomla, Concrete5, phpBB, MyBB, SMF, bbPress, Coppermine, Gallery, Mediawiki, DokuWiki, TikiWiki, Elgg, Dolphin, OpenX, SquirrelMail, LimeSurvey, Piwik, Mantis, SugarCRM, WHMCS, PrestaShop, Magento, CraftySyntax, osTicket, Moodle, Claroline, etc.
