DAILYHOSTNEWS, October 5, 2011 – Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) storage and performance optimizations leader Atlantis Computing has today announced the expansion of its VDI solution partner program with Dell and 46 new authorized partners in North America, EMEA and APAC. VMware, Citrix and Quest partners are presented with a great opportunity through the Atlantis Computing VDI solution partner program to complement their existing VDI offerings with a solution directed towards the growth of their VDI business.
Organizations deploying virtual desktops ensure success of their projects by reducing the amount of space that is normally required. This is achieved by the Atlantis ILIO software virtual appliance. The software also boosts performance and enables security to be deployed without impacting server density. Integration of the solution is done by channel partners into the existing VMware view, Citrix XenDesktop or Quest vWorkspace deployments to either support more users on the same storage or address ongoing scalability and performance issues.
