Phoenix NAP today launched its Virtual Private Data Center.
The news comes a few weeks after Phoenix NAP expanded its secured servers and HaaS offerings to its Ashburn data center.
The new Virtual Private Data Center offers contract based consumption, requires no large up front capital investment and access to other infrastructure services through the data center’s unified network.
It is ideal for a multitude of instances including:
- Application development environments.
- Testing and proof of concepts.
- DR/Backup site.
- Hybrid cloud environments.
- Supporting PaaS adoption.
“We are extremely excited for our clients to begin utilizing our Virtual Private Data Center,” said William Bell, VP of product development, cloud and enterprise services, Phoenix NAP.
“As a scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure, we designed this specifically for our client’s to be able to extend their current infrastructure,” he added.
Earlier this year, Phoenix Nap also launched its Managed Private Cloud Solution and enhanced its cloud offering with new features.
