Open source collaboration software leader Open-Xchange today announced partnership with home.pl, a Poland based web hosting provider for Central and Eastern Europe, to provide more than 1,500,000 users with OX App Suite, an innovative communication platform that integrates office, email and social media feeds all in one streamlined Web interface.
By integrating OX App Suite, the new home.pl communication and collaboration service is providing a true alternative to proprietary office collaboration giants, like Google and Microsoft.
OX App Suite provides a totally device and OS agnostic suite of productivity applications, including the recently released OX Text, which allows for real-time editing of all major office formats, including Microsoft and OpenOffice.
home.pl customers can now:
- Manage their email, contacts and appointments in a single user interface across multiple devices and operating systems.
- Check Google Mail, Hotmail and social network feeds from Twitter and Facebook in the same interface.
- View and manage their media (pictures, videos,music etc.)
- Manage and edit their office documents using OX Text.
