A few weeks after launch of HBDrive, a new cloud backup service, Novosoft LLC today released Handy Backup for Yandex.Disk, which allows users to sync and restore files that have been backed up to Yandex.Disk without installation of any additional applications.
Claimed to be a convenient and secure way to guard data for free, Handy Backup for Yandex.Disk has a scheduler to set up an automatic backup and recovery.
The program helps users to back up files, folders, Windows Libraries (for Windows 7 and 8), Outlook, and 1C databases to Yandex.Disk. Users can also synchronize data between different devices, download and restore files at anytime from anywhere and share data with each other by copying and sending download links.
All data is transferred through protected protocols with the high level of encryption.
Its functionality can extended through the purchase of additional plug-ins for backing up different data types, including MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
“We are tending to provide our customers with the most advanced backup solutions. We have created the freeware edition of the program that allows users to store data on Yandex.Disk to make backup to cloud storage more widespread,”- said Aleksey Dolgushev, Business Development Head, Handy Backup.
To take advantage of the program users just need to download it, register it with an automatically generated key, and link it up to a Yandex.Disk account.
