Life after the cloud? Visitor registration for world’s largest hosting event is open

1 Mins read

Everybody who wants to know what the next big trend after the cloud could be should mark a date in his calendar: WHD.global 2012, the largest B2B event of the hosting industry, will be held March 20-23 at Europa-Park theme park in Rust, Germay. The online registration for visitors has been opened a few hours ago.

In the previous year the event gathered about 3,500 international members of the hosting and internet industry in the center of Europe. In the course of 2011 further successful events followed up, i.e. WHD.asia in Bangkok and the European tour called WHD.local. For 2012 additional events in all parts of the world are planned, for example in India, in the Middle East or South America. Hence the organizers decided to attach the suffix “.global” to the main event to put more emphasis on its international orientation.

During all four event days the visitors will find ample opportunities to get an update on current developments in the industry and foster their networks. The WHD concept comprises a trade fair, keynotes and social events. Thus, no crucial aspect of a decent business gathering is left out and the agenda accounts for much diversity. Also Europa-Park’s attractions provide a lot of diversion; they will be open exclusively for WHD guests.

Industry leaders like OnApp, Microsoft, Dell, Parallels and HP will exhibit at the so-called hosting.FAIR as Diamond Partners. But also many other well-known brands – AMD, Fujitsu, Intel, Samsung or Verisign – are among the nearly 100 WHD partners. On the central stage called main.FORUM distinguished masterminds from the hosting world will pass the mic to one another. An exciting look into the future will be taken when the question is raised what the next big thing after the cloud might be. But the experts also approach current security threats and present solutions to make data traffic over the internet even more secure.

All interested members of the hosting and internet industry can register as of now at www.worldhostingdays.com. A standard ticket costs 349 euros while the VIP status with many exclusive privileges is billed with 999 euros. A ticket always comprises access to the event on all four days including catering and social program. And with a little luck a free code can be obtained from one of the exhibitors or media partners to take part without charge.
