In a move to spread awareness among Indian SMBs and entrepreneurs about importance of online presence and how convenient, fast and cost-effective it is to build a website, GoDaddy has launched a ‘Cup of Coffee’ campaign in India.

While India represents a huge opportunity for GoDaddy, there is a clear industry need to undertake initiatives that expand the overall market in India and that’s the reason behind this campaign. – Rajiv Sodhi, VP and MD, GoDaddy India.

The news comes mere two days after GoDaddy announced partnership with Locu to offer specialized websites for Restaurants.

SMBs will be given a first hand experience of registering a domain name, building a website, getting an email address and leveraging Google AdWords for website promotion.

The campaign will also see radio and outdoor advertising along with trained GoDaddy experts going door-to-door in selected clusters to ensure maximum outreach to SMBs in the three cities.

GoDaddy will provide following deliverables for Rs. 580 to SMBs under this campaign:

  • 1GB email.
  • Google AdWords credit worth Rs. 2,500.
