CA Technologies and ExaGrid Systems today announced that they’ve teamed up to deliver a customized backup solution, which pairs CA ARCserve® D2D image-based backup and recovery software and ExaGrid disk storage and deduplication appliance hardware.
The new solution will help mid-market and small enterprise organizations slash storage requirements and related costs while shortening backup windows, speeding recovery, and delivering more reliable offsite disaster recovery than slower tape devices.
The combination of CA ARCserve D2D and ExaGrid will help IT organizations back up complex heterogeneous environments that combine virtual and physical environments in a cost-effective manner.
It delivers significantly fast backup and recovery and post-process data deduplication to meet resource constraints without affecting backup performance.
