Clara Online Announces Cloud Hosting Service in Japan

Clara Online, a Japanese hosting company  released a new Cloud hosting service, SolaCloud Nano, for non-Japanese customers.

With SolaCloud Nano, resources such as CPU and memory are exclusive (i.e. not shared) in order to provide a stable and secure server environment for each customer. At the same time, these resources can be expanded or contracted according to customer requirements. The resulting service is a hybrid of dedicated and cloud-based solutions.

We believe that SolaCloud Nano represents an ideal proposition for those getting started in the Japan market. As always, we are ready to support our customers’ business expansion in Asia.”

The SolaCloud Nano service starts from a base price of  10,500 JPY (approx $131 USD) monthly. There are no setup fees.

Outlet Service also released

Clara Online is also making efforts to offer its non-Japanese clients better value. Confronted with the  strength of the Japanese Yen, the company recently launched an Outlet Service for its dedicated servers. The service is exclusively offered to companies based outside of Japan.

“The Outlet Service is a win-win solution for Clara Online and our non-Japanese customers. By mobilizing spare servers, we improve our overall server utilization and the customer is able to get a dedicated server in Japan for a considerably lower price than was previously possible.”
