Top 10 Data Center Providers in Singapore

The Asia-Pacific Data Center Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.1% during the period 2022 to 2027. Deeper internet penetration followed by increase in data flow, public cloud services, and the expanding IoT market are the factors driving this growth.

As is the case with the data center services market in all other countries, the Singaporean data center services market is also experiencing massive growth due to hyper-scale cloud computing vendors, who have huge data center leasing capacities and the evolution of digital-native enterprises (born-in-the-cloud) that present good opportunities for data center providers in Singapore.

According to a recent report, the colocation market for data centers in Singapore is expected to experience a significant growth, nearly doubling in size over the next five years. This expansion is attributed to the increasing presence of hyperscale cloud providers, content and digital media companies, as well as network and IT service providers, who are actively expanding their operations in emerging markets across Southeast Asia.

In fact, Singapore was recently ranked second on the APAC top data center 2022 list

The organizations are attracted to Singapore as it is a prime location, is among the most connected cities in the world, has political stability, and is run by a pro-business government. Generous economic incentives and the lowest corporate tax in the APAC region also contribute a lot to Singapore’s popularity.

However, the competition is intensifying in the data center space and providers have to seek value-added services that they can sell to complement their existing data center product portfolios. Thus, in order to maintain the leadership position, data center providers have to keep innovating and strengthen their customer service experience in Singapore.
