ProfitBricks, the infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) company, today announced its Referral Program, designed to positively impact the benefits for referral partnerships. The program is currently offering as 25 percent customer’s net revenue as compensation. ProfitBricks is also opening up its early-stage reseller program by inviting select Value Added Resellers (VARs) to work with the cloud computing provider.
The announced program is aimed at developers, IT consultants, system integrators, independent software vendors and even well-connected technology influencers looking for recurring revenue streams from a next-generation cloud provider. ViUX systems, too announced its own Affiliate program with referral structure recently, followed by Hosting.co.uk’s program. Around a few months back Codero hosting and Hivelocity launched their respective referral programs.
In addition to its Referral Program, ProfitBricks is currently developing a reseller program that will offer similar benefits and is currently enrolling early VARs interested in offering next-generation cloud computing services.
Lucrative Referral Bonus For Early Action
Qualified referral partners can earn as much as 25 percent of ProfitBricks’ net revenue on customers when they refer a sales lead that signs up by March 31, 2013. For customers who sign between April 1 and June 30, the referral bonus is 20 percent of net revenue. In all cases, compensation will continue for the length of the customer contract up to a full three years.

What’s interesting is that an independent test conducted by Cloud Spectator showed that ProfitBricks outperformed both Amazon EC2 with 227 percent greater UnixBench score and the Rackspace Cloud with 194 percent faster I/O.
