Google, the search giant, founded in the month of September in 1998 turns 14 today. The company was established by two Stanford classmates Larry Page and Sergey Brin, fourteen years back.
Google celebrates its birthday with a fascinating animated doodle. Today’s Google Doodle is an animated chocolate cake decorated with 14 candles placed over it of Google colours – green, yellow, blue and red. Moreover all the candles got lit up followed by Google letters.
According to Google blogpost this week, “As Google turns 14 this month, we’re celebrating this creative spirit and officially launching Google for Entrepreneurs, the umbrella for our several dozen programs and partnerships around the world that support startups and entrepreneurs.”
“To celebrate both our birthday and the spirit of entrepreneurship that’s helped get us where we are today, we are hosting our first annual Google for Entrepreneurs Week, which will bring together more than 3,000 entrepreneurs and Googlers around the world.”
Earlier, when Google entered its teenage, it marked its 13th birthday with a doodle that depicted the company logo with party hats placed on each letter of its logo and a cake with balloons and gifts around.
In fact Google has many more reasons to celebrate this occasion as the search giant recently got the permission of riding its driver less car in California .
