Web hosting provider SiteGround today announced enhancements to its Dedicated servers offerings. From now on, several tools like Joomla and WordPress Autoupdaters, data center choices and all further innovations implemented by SiteGround will be available for its dedicated server users.
The news comes nearly a month after SiteGround reinvented its brand identity and launched redesigned logo, website and hosting plans structure in line with the new brand concept.
SiteGround has announced three major developments to their dedicated server offerings in an official blog post:
- Dedicated servers in Europe and Singapore: Last year saw SiteGround launching Europe and Singapore based server locations, which were made available only for shared customers at first, and later for semi-dedicated and our cloud users too. Now SiteGround’s dedicated servers users will also be able to choose a location outside USA.
- Additional tools: Dedicated server users will now have access to following tools: CloudFlare CDN integration in the cPanel, Joomla and WordPress Autoupdaters, Joomla and WordPress staging environment, multiple PHP versions. All this software can now be installed at no additional cost on any dedicated server. Users who receive this proprietary software will have their root access revoked. Existing customers can request their dedicated server setup to be changed to include the tools mentioned from their user area.
- Performance Booster: Each dedicated server can now be enhanced by adding a performance booster that includes a special server setup per application plus SiteGround’s SuperCacher. Interested customers can add the booster to their existing dedicated server from the booster upgrade page in the user area.
