US-based Cisco launches Partner Deal Express to improve partner sales efficiency and profitability in APAC

US-based IT and networking company, Cisco, recently announced the launch of the Partner Deal Express programme for its channel partners. The new programme will help in increasing partner sales efficiency and profitability in selling products to small and medium businesses (SMBs) in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The programme enables Cisco’s partners to provide faster transactions for SMBs as it provides an upfront discount on a targeted portfolio that is tailored for SMBs.

As part of the initiative, Cisco will regularly review historical pricing and competitive analysis and adjust Fast Track (pricing) for providing the best upfront discount for SMBs. This will help them improve customer experience and increase partner profitability through predictable pricing, making it easier to close SMB deals/transactions.

“Small and medium-sized businesses are a big priority for Cisco, especially in Asia Pacific, which is one of the fastest growing markets for SMBs. With technology evolving at a fast pace, SMBs need our partner’s expertise to ensure they deploy the right technologies to transform in the right areas and harness the full potential of digitalization. The Partner Deal Express program is an initiative that enables and empowers our partners to help SMBs by providing simplified visibility, management, and control,” said Michiko Kamata, Managing Director, SMB APJC at Cisco.

The Partner Deal Express program offers four different product families that are tailored to meet the needs of small businesses. These core product families can then be used to create affordable solutions that fit the specific needs of each customer. The four products are:

  • Cisco Meraki – offering cloud-controlled Wi-Fi routing and security
  • Webex by Cisco – enterprise-grade collaboration platform
  • Duo – multi-factor authentication solution
  • Cisco Umbrella – a cloud solution that combines multiple functions to provide flexible, cloud-delivered security.

Small and medium-sized businesses are looking for ways to increase their efficiency and improve their customer service. Cisco has been focusing on this market, and we have been working with partners to provide tailored solutions. In the financial year 2022, the SMB segment was among the fastest-growing areas for Cisco. To support its Partner Deal Express program, Cisco will be launching a new SMB Website across APJC. This website will aim to drive traffic and leads to its partners.
