Sept 09, 2011 – SoftLayer® Technologies, the innovation leader in Cloud, Dedicated, and Managed hosting, announces opening of new data centers in Singapore and Amsterdam to provide DedicatedCloud, and Managed Hosting to businesses across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Softlayer posted, “The Amsterdam and Singapore data centers are complemented by new points of presence (PoPs) in Europe and Asia-Pacific that will provide millions of new users with a direct, dedicated path to the SoftLayer Private Network, providing lower latency and a superior end user experience.”

It also added that with the addition of the Singapore and Amsterdam data centers, SoftLayer has 13 data centers and 16 PoPs worldwide.
