ServInt Now Offers Service Level Agreement for Customers Using Jelastic Cloud Hosting Platform

Managed cloud hosting provider ServInt now offers guarantees on data center infrastructure, server uptime and customer support for  Jelastic customers. With this, ServInt becomes one of the few  hosting companies to offer the exact same service-level guarantees for its auto-scaling cloud, VPS and dedicated server offerings.

The news comes almost a month after ServInt added Ubuntu to list of available operating systems for its Flex VPS product line.

According to the official press-release,  ServInt’s Jelastic SLA does not require customers to purchase additional hosting capacity.  It guarantees that:

  • All data center infrastructure under its control will be available 100 percent of the time.
  • Servers used to host  Jelastic customers will be available 99.9 percent of the time.
  • ServInt infrastructure required to contact its technical support group will be available 100 percent of the time.

“Many of today’s auto-scaling service providers offer SLAs that are both underwhelming in the compensation they offer, and unfair in the additional cloud resources they require customers to purchase,” said Mr. Christian Dawson, COO, ServInt.

“With ServInt’s 99.9996 percent historical up-time  we are able to not only offer our Jelastic customers the same SLA guarantees our VPS and dedicated customers enjoy – we are also able to make the SLA better for all our customers, regardless of platform,” he added.

Earlier this year ServInt also increased its  affiliate partner payouts to up to $799 for referred hosting business.
