Managed hosting provider Edgewebhosting Inc. announced yesterday that is has successfully completed their annual SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type II audit. The audit tested the accuracy of the security, availability, integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls of Edge’s operations.
The Type II report includes the examination and confirmation steps involved in a Type I examination plus includes an evaluation of the effectiveness of the controls. This level of examinations gives greater level of assurance, transparency and confidence in the control systems.
